Congratulations to all who tested! Belts and stripes are being awarded now. As classes resume after the Winter break, ranks will be awarded in the classes the students regularly attend.
Who should attend?
Everyone is invited to observe a demonstration, or demonstrate if he or she is ready. Feel free to bring along family and friends to show support for this awesome event!
How do I know if I am ready?
White belts demonstrating for yellow stripe should be able to perform four directional punching, four directional kicking (right & left sides) and three-step sparring. Youth/school program students should have a minimum of eight "practice test" completion stripes marked on their white belts (four on each tip) before demonstrating for yellow stripe. Students demonstrating for yellow belts and above should be able to perform all of their patterns without hesitating, or looking to others for assistance.
What will it cost?
We ask students who are demonstrating from the youth programs for a $30 fee to cover expenses and support for our programs. The teen and adult demonstration fee is $50 for all ranks. Partial scholarships are available on request during registration.
