Four-Directional Punching

10th Gup
White Belt

Technically Four-Directional Punching is not a "pattern". Patterns begin with defensive techniques. Four-Directional Punching begins with an offensive technique, a middle punch. There are two parts, Right Side and Left Side. Each part has eight steps, four stepping forward and four stepping backward. This exercise is designed for beginning students (white belts).

In each series of movements, all front punches are middle-section and all blocks are down.
